I grew up in more of a soft gospel Church where saying a prayer and being baptized “saved me” and I did so at a younger age. Going into middle school and high school, I still believed I was saved but no evidence showed that. My high school years were filled with living a life completely for myself and tarnishing the name of Christ. I was invited to go to BLGD28, where Aaron was the youth pastor, when I was 17 for a scavenger hunt. I started going regularly, and in 2010 I went on my first mission trip with Pastor Aaron to Canada. I have now been on six other mission trips with him since then. By God’s amazing grace, I have completely turned my life around and I am joyfully living my life out for Christ and His kingdom.
I have a wonderful God loving family! My beautiful mom, Tonya, and my dad, Thad Cotton, who is one of the elders here at BLDG28. I have four siblings and they all attend B28. Ryan (my older brother) and Jenny (sister-in-law) who have two little ones , Harrison and Charlotte. I also have two younger sisters Emma and Sara. For fun, I love to hang out with my close friends at a local brewery or enjoy the sunshine somewhere outdoors. I also like to just chill and watch a movie with my favorites: June (my German Shepherd) and my amazing God fearing boyfriend, Zach, who is a Bible teacher at Calvary Christian High School.
You can find me at a lot of the Tampa Bay Lighting games: it’s really the only sport I truly care about. GO BOLTS! So that’s me, I hope to get to know you soon!
