How Should I Handle Toxic People?

OOZ0203_hero

Each Christ-follower must unavoidably deal with negative, toxic individuals in their church, family, workplace, and even friend groups. So the question is not if I will encounter toxic people, but rather how I will handle these encounters when they come?

Are some believers better gifted than others to handle negative individuals and toxic situations? Does there come a point when we as believers should detach ourselves from a toxic individual?

This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest-hosts Tim Miller and Allan Pereira discuss how we as Christians should handle toxic individuals in our lives, boundaries and empathy, and what we can learn from Scripture and Jesus’ example.

“There is something very valuable to be said about why is this person this way? Are they always this way? Do they just live this way? Do they like being sad? Do they like making other people miserable? Or are they going through something super heavy that Jesus is calling me to help them navigate and work through right now?” ~ Aaron Currin
