Is Demonic Activity Legit?

009_hero

Demonic activity is a favorite topic of Hollywood and pop culture. And the church seems to respond in drastically different ways — either acting like it doesn’t exist or overplaying its importance.

As Christians, how should we deal with the reality of demons and the spiritual realm? What’s the difference between our sinful nature and satanic influence? Is demonic activity a thing that used to exist, but doesn’t anymore?

This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest hosts Adam Powers and Rick Reumann discuss these questions and what the bible actually teaches about demonic activity in our lives and throughout history.

“We tend to think of demonic activity in the church as this radically pernicious and obvious evil. Instead, could it just be sinister enough to dilute the gospel? What does Paul say about the Judaizers in Galatians? That’s a damnable, demonic heresy, and it’s just a slight perversion of the gospel — it’s Jesus plus works, right?” ~ Aaron Currin
