Should Christians Celebrate Alcohol?

007_hero

Should Christians celebrate alcohol? It’s a question with as many opinions as people answering it. While most Christians would agree that “being drunk” is sinful, they would probably disagree about the definition of drunkenness.

The Bible commands us to celebrate God’s good gifts. But it also warns us about the dangers of alcohol. So, is alcohol a good gift of God that can and should be celebrated? Or is something that is at most permissible, but often unwise?

This week, Peter, Aaron, and guest hosts Dashawn Cousins and Tim Miller discuss these questions and look at what the Bible and church history actually teaches about alcohol and its consumption.

“If it’s not universally prohibited, and it’s in its proper place, any of God’s good gifts can be celebrated.” ~ Aaron Currin
