Pastor Chad Williams

New Lead Teaching Pastor of Bldg 28 Church starting April 1st

Chad recently served as the Lead Pastor at HighView Church in Villa Rica, Georgia, a position he’s held since 2012.

Under his leadership, HighView has grown from a small core team of just five members to a thriving congregation of over 400. His ability to foster a self-sustaining church within two years speaks to his dedication, strategic vision, and heart for evangelism.

Chad’s experience also includes time as an Associate Pastor and Director of Missions at New Covenant Fellowship Church, where he ministered to a congregation of over 300. Through each role, Chad has demonstrated a heart for discipleship, community-building, and a passion for spreading the Gospel.

Experience

Before his 12 years as Lead Pastor at HighView, Chad worked in Chick-fil-A Management as a Grand Opening Coordinator earlier in his career. This position not only developed his leadership skills, but also his ability to engage with people from all walks of life. This role helped him learn the importance of community and service, which he has carried into his pastoral work.

Ministry Philosophy

Chad’s ministry philosophy is centered on "Engaging, Developing, and Deploying deep disciples of Jesus to reach the world." His passion for gospel-centered, expositional preaching enables him to connect scripture with every day life, making it relatable and impactful for listeners of all ages. Chad is known for creating cultures that encourage discipleship and develop leadership.

Family Life

Chad is happily married to Kalie, and together they have three wonderful children: Lydia, Reagan, and Gracen.

Family is central to Chad's life. He highlighted how he and his wife, Kalie work together to create a nurturing environment not only for their children but also for their community. They are intentional about family traditions, like weekend adventures and regular family dinners, where they connect and reflect on God’s blessings. The Williams family enjoys hiking, family movie nights, and exploring new spots around town.

Chad and Kalie have a strong heart for family ministry. They prioritize not only raising their children in faith but also encouraging other families within the church to do the same. They hope to cultivate a community that supports parents in nurturing their children’s spiritual growth.
