New to Bldg 28?

Take a test drive of one our services and get a feel for what to expect.

Take a peek at our videos below to get a feel for what our services are like at BLDG 28 Church. Whether it be a typical Sunday service or the style of the band, we understand you may feel more comfortable with a glimpse of what to expect.

What to expect on a Sunday

We strive to be biblically, passionate, and friendly. When you arrive, you'll be greeted and welcomed into an atmosphere of community and family.

texture-slogan

In a relaxed atmosphere, with a Bible in one hand and coffee in the other, you will experience the thrill of corporate worship and hear an engaging message, laced with Scripture, that will challenge your thinking, convict your heart, and set your soul a blaze for the glory of God.

Biblical Preaching

At Bldg 28 we put a focus on biblical accuracy and theological importance. The preaching will be biblical, challenging, convicting and encouraging.

Passionate Worship

Our music and worship focuses on theological accuracy and God-focused praise. Our worship team will direct you to focus on the Lord and his graciousness and faithfulness.

Kids Ministry

Swing by the kid's wing on the way from the Coffee Shop to the Worship Room to drop off your kids in age appropriate classes. Our kids ministry is geared toward children from babies up to 1st grade.

Coffee Shop

Stop by the coffee shop before (or after) worship gathering for free coffee or pick up a donut or book / t-shirt from the resource table. Our coffee shop workers are friendly and happy to chat.

Find Community

At Bldg 28, we emphasize community - whether that be interacting and meeting others at church or joining a Home Group. We encourage all of our members and attenders to get involved!

What does the band sound like?

Our music is theologically accurate, God-honoring, uplifting and passionate. We invite you to come experience it with us!

What to Expect

Where do I park?

Once you pull into our parking lot, you will see Guest Parking signs in the spots across from the building. If for some reason parking in the front is full, we have additional parking and entrances in the back of the building.

What should I wear?

Come as you are. We want you to be comfortable. Most people wear casual attire. Dressing up is not expected or required.

Where do I go once I get there?

Once inside, follow signs to the Connect Desk. There you will find friendly volunteers that can help show you around and take you where you need to go. If you like to be adventurous on your own, then you can follow signs to the Coffee Shop, Kids Checkin or the Worship Room.

Test drive a service by watching a few videos at the top of this page.

Once inside, what do I do with my children?

Currently child care is provided for families who are willing to commit to serving in child care at least once that month.

Ask a volunteer at one of the two Connect Desks or follow signs to the 28 Kids Checkin Desk. Once you arrive there, a 28 Kids Volunteer will help you get signed in and take you and your kids to the correct classroom. All 28 Kids Volunteers are background checked. If you would like to make your checkin time a little shorter, you can preregister your kids by clicking here.

Before & After Service?

Before and after service, most people hang out in the Coffee Shop where we serve Jupiter Donuts and Gobena Coffee.

How do I connect?

Filling out a Connect Card that is found in the seatbacks around you or at our Connect Desk is the first step in getting plugged in at Bldg 28. One of our pastors will reach out to you during the week to get you information about the church and let you know when our next free Newcomers’ Breakfast is.

What about the kids?

We have children services for ages 0-11. Seven to eleven year olds will start in the adult service and will be dismissed after the time of worship. Our 28 Kids teachers will be teaching through our Curriculum “The Gospel Project.” You can find out more information about “The Gospel Project” by clicking here.

We are genuinely excited to have you come worship with us at Bldg 28. Let us save you a seat this weekend!
