My husband (Kris) and I started attending Bldg 28 in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the teaching, accountability, and culture here. We had been searching not only for a church that would feed us spiritually but also a community that would embrace us. Joining a home group was a huge step for me in my walk with Jesus as I was able to share in the joys and sorrows of life surrounded by my brothers and sisters in Christ. The first night I attended a home group meeting I felt instantly loved and cared for during a very difficult time in my life and it really made me feel like Bldg 28 Church was my home.
I love the people at Bldg 28 and serving is a passion of mine. I have been a deaconess at the church for the past two years and I love attending mission trips, serving at the newcomer’s events, and praising the Lord at the Nights of Worship.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
