I was raised as a pastor’s kid and my journey with Christ began when I was 5 years old. I attended college to earn a degree in youth ministry and theology and while there, through friends and teachers, Christ opened my mind to the true grace that He has provided. Before moving to Florida in 2014, I was in youth ministry for 12 years and loved every minute of it! In 2012, I graduated seminary with my Master of Divinity.
My wife, Christy, and I were married in 2003, and we have 5 kids: Adelina, Marcail, Cadence, Donovan, and Reddington (born July 2016). I love playing guitar, watching movies, hanging with my wife and friends, cooking and weight lifting.
In many ways, God has made it clear that I belong at Bldg 28 Church. I love the people of this church and the movement that is happening here. The atmosphere is electric with the love and service of Christ.
Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

I only read when I have to, but I have to read all the time
My kids think I am a superhero, I don’t discourage that
I am a bit of a coffee snob, but I like diner coffee
I need noise to concentrate, silence is distracting
I use my yeti mugs on a regular basis at home, I like my coffee to stay hot!
